Detectives released a composite sketch of a man who is believed to be connected to multiple indecent exposure cases throughout the course of the year, all in the same neighborhoods.

Late last month, officers were called to the 6000 block of Knollwood Drive to investigate a report of a child who was approached by a man who exposed himself, though the minor ran off before there was any contact.

The suspect was described as being a White man who was wearing glasses, is 5-foot-9 and is between the ages of 20 and 30 years old. Further investigation led police to determine that the same person may be responsible for at least three other cases in the 6000 block of Vista Drive between April and October.

It is unclear if there were other similar incidents.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information or may have been targeted by him has been asked to contact the Fairfax County Police Department's Major Crimes Bureau by calling (703) 246-7800.
